I was drawn to counselling myself years ago, through my own life experiences. That time made such a difference in my life (then and now) that I decided it was what I wanted to do.
I believe in giving others the space and time they need to explore how they are feeling and, importantly, to help them feel heard.
The non judgmental, empathetic beauty of the therapeutic relationship can change lives and it is now an honour to be a part of that change.
I am a qualified, experienced counsellor with a Diploma in therapeutic counselling. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and am working towards full accreditation.
I have experience of working in many areas and like to take an integrative approach to my work, meaning I can adapt to you individually.
I have experience of working with 16-19 year olds and enjoy working creatively with clients, if you should want to.
Working from the privacy of my garden cabin I can offer a relaxed and calm approach to our sessions.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I am bound to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and as part of this I am committed to continued professional development.
